For an important international IPP active in the renewable energy sector, we are looking for a Project Manager Execution to be included in the pre-construction team in Italy.

The company operates in an international context and is experiencing strong growth, developing, building, financing and managing renewable energy projects across different markets.

Main responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate permitting activities related to greenfield photovoltaic projects developed internally.

• Oversee the entire project development process, from greenfield to Ready-to-Build and through the subsequent phases, monitoring progress and timelines.

• Manage the execution phase of the projects, ensuring the acquisition and compliance of required expropriations, authorizations and permits.

• Identify all procedures and regulatory requirements needed to achieve the Ready-to-Build status and the subsequent move to construction.

• Monitor, verify and coordinate the documentation required for obtaining authorizations, ensuring completeness and regulatory compliance.

• Manage relationships with public bodies, local administrations and external stakeholders, guiding projects throughout the authorization and execution process.

• Collaborate with the legal department in negotiating and finalizing key agreements, including land agreements, SPAs and co-development agreements.

• Ensure effective follow-up of activities and timely handling of critical issues, ensuring projects progress according to established schedules.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related fields.

• 4–7 years of experience in permitting activities in the renewable energy sector, preferably on photovoltaic projects.

• Proven experience managing complex authorization procedures such as PAUR, EIA (VIA), AU and PAS, as well as secondary permitting activities (expropriations, authorizations, permits, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of the Italian regulatory framework and authorization processes applicable to renewable energy projects.

• Experience managing complex projects independently and working with public institutions, administrations and stakeholders.

• Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills.

• Proactive problem-solving approach and decision-making ability.

• Good knowledge of English (at least B2 level).
