Electrical Supervisor

We are looking for an Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee PV construction, manage site teams, and support testing across Italian solar sites.

Profile:

The Electrical Site Supervisor will join the On-Site Operations & Construction team, overseeing and coordinating all electrical construction activities for utility-scale ground-mounted photovoltaic projects across Italy. The successful candidate will ensure that electrical installation works are executed to the highest quality standards, on schedule, and in full compliance with executive designs, company health and safety protocols, and applicable Italian electrical regulations (CEI standards). The role involves significant hands-on site management, close coordination with subcontractors and suppliers, and direct collaboration with the Site Manager and Project Manager to drive project delivery through to successful pre-commissioning, testing, and plant handover.


Key Responsabilities:

  • Supervision and coordination of electrical site activities during the construction of ground-mounted solar PV plants.

  • Verification of proper work execution in compliance with executive designs and applicable CEI standards.

  • Review and control of technical documentation, drawings, and electrical specifications.

  • Coordination with site managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality standards and deadline compliance.

  • Collaboration with the Site Manager and Project Manager on planning and monitoring work progress.

  • Oversight of the installation of LV/MV electrical panels, earthing systems, inverters, and cabling. Monitoring adherence to safety regulations and company protocols regarding health, safety, and environment (HSE).

  • Support during pre-commissioning tests, inspection, and plant commissioning.


Requirements:

  • Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, or a related field. Solid knowledge of solar PV technology and key Italian electrical standards and regulations. Proficiency in IT tools (MS Office, AutoCAD).

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in electrical supervision or similar roles within the renewable energy or industrial installation sectors.

  • Ability to manage and coordinate site teams and subcontractors.

  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures.

  • Operational problem-solving skills.

  • Proactive approach and result-oriented mindset.

  • Willingness to travel and reside near site locations.
